Honoring Lisa
Team Members (5)
On March 15th, 2024, we lost our beloved Lisa—a mother, wife, teacher, and friend who touched everyone she met.
Lisa was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2022. For two years, she fought with incredible strength and grace, never losing her smile or her determination to help others.
How funds will be used:
About Lisa:
Lisa taught 5th grade at Roosevelt Elementary for 18 years. She was named Teacher of the Year three times. More than 500 students came to her memorial service—each with a story of how "Mrs. Martinez" changed their life.
She was the kind of person who:
- •Stayed late to tutor struggling students for free
- •Organized the neighborhood block party every summer
- •Made homemade soup for anyone who was sick
- •Remembered everyone's birthday and anniversary
Our Promise:
Every dollar donated goes directly to honoring Lisa's legacy. We will share updates on how funds are used and the lives they impact.
Lisa always said: "Small acts of kindness ripple outward forever."
Help us create ripples that last.
With gratitude,
Carlos, Emma, and the entire Martinez family

Carlos, I was one of Lisa's students 20 years ago. She changed my life. I'm now a doctor because she believed in me when no one else did. This is for you and Emma.
From all of us at MEA. Lisa was the heart of every company event. She made everyone feel welcome. We miss her smile in the office.
We danced at your wedding. Lisa glowed that day. She kept glowing every day after. So sorry for your loss, old friend.
Emma, your speech at the memorial was incredible. Your mom raised an amazing woman. We're all rooting for you. Future nurses unite!
Mi nieta, your mother was my greatest joy. Now you are. She lives on in everything you do. Te amo siempre. - Abuela
